Been there, done that- guess I'll have to print the T-shirt...


Thursday started out with a brief discussion with the Special Assistant to Mayor Adler on a Facebook thread about the development code. He withdrew from the discussion after a bit, saying:

 "understand, your position. I disagree, and just won't engage with such unserious hyperbole."

I'm thinking the appropriate response from the Mayor's office would have been something like: "Chris, we are deeply concerned about Affordability and wonder why you think this code will have such dire consequences for our constituents; we'd like to know more about what you're seeing in the code that has you so fired up."

But that's just not where we are right now...

I might have to print up the T-Shirt above to wear to my next City Council hearing.
